SEEK

BUSCA

Heavenly Father,
we praise you for all that you do and all that you are.
You teach us to seek first the kingdom of God and his justice
and all that we need shall be given to us.

We ask you to lead us in your will that we may be better disciples;
and as we knock at the door of your understanding,
may the door be opened; may our seeking bring us directly to you
and to our brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus
that we may build up the Body of Christ.

We ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior
who is Lord forever and ever. Amen.
Fr. Bob Mendoca

Padre Celestial

P. Bob Mendoca

Prayer to Our Redeemer
Soul of Christ, make me holy.
Body of Christ feed me.
Blood of Christ cover me.
Water from Christ’s side wash me.
Passion of Christ strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
In your wounds hide me.
From all sin keep me.
From Satan protect me.
At the hour of my death call me.
To your side invite me to praise
you with all your saints and
angels forever and ever. Amen.
Anima Christi, 14th Century
Amen.
Anima Christi, siglo XIV

O Lord, you are my Lord and my God, yet I have never seen you. You have created and redeemed me, and have conferred on me all my good, yet I know you not. I was created in order that I might know you, but I have not yet attained the goal of my creation. I confess, O Lord, and give you thanks, that you have created me in your image, so that I might be mindful of you and contemplate and love you. I seek not to understand in order that I may believe, rather, I believe in order that I may understand. Amen.
