Adult Confirmation
Are you ready to complete your full initiation into the Catholic Church?
Have you been baptized and made your First Communion
in the Catholic Church?
Have you been asked to be a godparent
or a sponsor?
If you can answer yes to any of the questions above, we here at St. Michael are ready to welcome you. We can provide you with the opportunity to gather with your peers to discuss issues of faith and spirituality; deepen your relationship with God; and learn more about church tradition, doctrine and scripture.
What is the Sacrament of Confirmation?
Confirmation is closely connected with Baptism, increasing and deepening baptismal grace. It celebrates the gift of God’s strength in a baptized person and confers a greater responsibility in Christian life. Through the anointing with Sacred Chrism and the imposition of hands, we are conformed more to Christ so that we may bear witness to Jesus in the world.
